Oncology massage is there to support people that have been diagnosed with cancer. Whether you are currently going through treatment, or are post-treatment, this massage will be focused on your needs and well-being at this time.
Massage for people with cancer has many benefits, and can help with decreasing anxiety levels, shorter hospital stays, better sleep patterns and making you feel more in control of what you’re going through.
The immune system is compromised whilst going through chemo or radiotherapy, and so the session will be adapted to how you are feeling on that particular day- studies have shown that even a ten minute massage can still have a positive effect on the body.
